Description
Introducing the December Hood, a versatile knitted hood and cowl designed for the cooler months from autumn through spring.
Wear it loose around the neck as a cosy cowl, pull it up as a hood, or tighten the I-cord to keep out the chill. Simple, wearable and easy to style, it’s one of those pieces you’ll reach for again and again.
The December Hood is worked using Aran/Worsted weight yarn held together with lace-weight mohair or suri, creating a beautifully soft, warm fabric with a subtle halo.

Intermediate. Video tutorials are included for every step to guide you through the construction and techniques used.

Blocked:
16 sts & 24 rnds = 10 cm / 4″
Because this pattern is worked both flat and in the round, it is important to check your gauge for both. Many knitters find their tension is tighter when working in the round than when working flat.
The samples maintained the same gauge using 5 mm needles for both methods; however, your results may differ and you may need to use a different needle size when working in the round.
