Description
The Nexus Beanie is a fun and intuitive mosaic knitting pattern with a bold textured design and plenty of options for playing with colour.
Written for five yarn weights from Aran/Worsted through to Super Chunky, the pattern is designed for two contrasting colours, with instructions for reversing the colour placement. You can also keep things simple and work the entire beanie in a single colour.
The mosaic technique means that only one colour is worked per round, making it a wonderfully approachable way to create striking colourwork.
The stitch pattern is a simple two-stitch, four-round repeat, so the circumference can also be adjusted if desired.
Skill Level ~
Adventurous beginner.
Method ~
Knitted in the round from the bottom up using the mosaic knitting technique. When using two colours, only one colour is worked on each round.
Size ~
Approximately 23 cm / 9″ wide × 23 cm / 9″ tall.
