Description
The A New Leaf Cowl is a cosy colourwork cowl featuring the distinctive leaf stitch from the New Leaf collection, worked using simple mosaic knitting. Because the colourwork is created using slipped stitches, you’ll only ever work with one colour at a time.
The pattern is written for Super Chunky yarn, with suggestions included for working it in Aran/Worsted, Light Chunky, Chunky and Light Super Chunky yarn. Choose between a classic ribbed edge or Latvian braid detailing, and adjust the circumference easily using the three-stitch pattern repeat.
There’s also a bonus headband pattern included, featuring the same leaf-stitch design with ribbed edging.

Method ~
Knitted from the bottom up in the round using two colours and the mosaic knitting technique. Choose between ribbed edging or Latvian braid detailing.
The pattern repeat is worked over a multiple of three stitches and five rounds, allowing the circumference to be adjusted if desired. Altering the size will change the amount of yarn required.

Gauge is measured in pattern, worked in the round using 9 mm / US 13 needles. Measurements should be taken unstretched and unblocked.
