Description
The Gaulus Hat is a lightweight summer hat knitting pattern with a relaxed fit, a statement Latvian braid and a brim that can be left soft or reinforced for extra structure.
Worked in Aran/Worsted weight yarn, the pattern includes five sizes from baby through to adult. There is little to no negative ease for a comfortable summer fit, and plenty of scope to make it your own — work it in one colour or stripes, reinforce the brim if you wish, and adjust the length of the brim or body.
The pattern has been thoroughly tested and tech edited, with written, picture and video tutorials plus a full schematic included.
