Description
The Brioche-me-Knot Brim Beanie is a versatile brioche knitting pattern designed for knitters who are new to brioche, as well as those with a little more experience.
The pattern includes instructions for both a beanie and a reversible headband, with six sets of instructions covering yarns from DK/Light Worsted through to Super Bulky. The brioche brim is paired with a simple stockinette body for the beanie, creating a cosy, beautifully textured finish.
Instructions are included for working in one or two colours, and video tutorials demonstrate both English and Continental knitting styles, making this a great introduction to brioche knitting.
Skill Level ~
Advanced beginner/intermediate. Written instructions and video tutorials are included to help you every step of the way.
Method ~
Knitted from the brim up in the round. The brim is worked in brioche stitch before transitioning to stockinette for the body of the beanie.
The pattern includes instructions for working with either one or two colours, as well as instructions for making a reversible brioche headband.
Size ~
Adult/teen. The finished size can easily be adjusted to suit your preferred fit.
